Boone County Health Department
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
The Boone County Solid Waste Management District and the Boone County Health Department recommend using a professional sharps container for storage of used needles/syringes before their ultimate disposal. These containers are available free of charge to Boone County residents. You may pick up a container from the Health Department located at 116 West Washington Street, Room B-201, Lebanon. Once the container is full, return it to the Health Department where appropriate disposal will be accomplished at no charge to you. Obtain another free container for your use. This program is a convenient way to insure that there are no accidental sticks of persons coming into contact with needles during the collection and disposal of trash.
