Residents of Ingham County may bring their sharps containers to the Ingham County Health Department for free disposal. If you do not have a biohazard container, liquid laundry detergent bottles or plastic coffee containers may be used. Containers must have sealed lids. Sharps should not be mixed with other materials. No milk jugs, plastic juice containers, plastic bags or cardboard boxes. Contact the Ingham County Recycling Coordinator for more information.
