Albany Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events *Appointment Required* (Fall 2026)
Collection events to be announced.
Residents must pre-register by phone or online to participate.
Please note phone registration is closed the Friday before each event and online registration is closed the Tuesday before each event. Events will run from 4pm-7pm and will take place at the City of Albany Rapp Road Landfill. At no time should hazardous waste or electronics be placed curbside.
Needles and syringes must be in metal can or sharps container with the needles pointing down. Containers should be sealed and properly packaged for safe transportation.
