It is recommended that sharps be placed in a 1.4 quart sharps container purchased from a pharmacy. Other alternative containers must be leak proof, rigid, puncture-resistant, labeled with a biohazard symbol or the words "SHARPS", no larger than 1.4 quart in size. Individual sharps should not be disposed of in the collection bins. For more information, send an email to recycling@isabellacounty.org.
