Area residents may call to schedule an appointment to drop off their used sharps. $4 disposal fee for residents who take their own container. Free disposal when you purchase a sharps container from Sedation.
Sharp must be in a sharps container or one of the following approved containers: bleach bottle, laundry detergent bottle, heavy-duty plastic jug with a "number 2" recycling symbol, metal container with a tightly secured lid. Non acceptable containers include thin plastic containers and glass containers. Containers should be clearly labeled as "SHARPS" or "BIOHAZARD WASTE."
